We finally got around to carving our pumpkins last night. Makena painted hers again this year - she has been known to gag or freak out a bit when cleaning out the pumpkin so we stopped carving hers a few years ago. Jamie wanted to paint his this year too, but I wouldn't let him because I wanted the seeds.
I was a little disappointed when I went to Fred Meyer last night to find some carving supplies and there wasn't much left. Not that they didn't have it...they had cleared most of the Halloween stuff away to make room for the Christmas stuff. Don't get me wrong, Christmas is my favorite holiday, but can't we get to Halloween first?
