Alaska Day 9

T & Chad got up early on Saturday to pack up and do some last minute shopping. I took them to the airport, while Jamie finished packing up our things. Then we headed downtown for a while before heading to the airport.

Jamie found a new (waterproof) fishing hat!

Unfortunately, when we changed our flight, we had a few hour layover in Seattle. We tried to catch an earlier flight, but only our luggage made the flight. We arrived in Portland around 11pm and were eager to get home to bed.
We had a great time visiting Ketchikan! So much has changed (in some areas) since I'd been there 10 years ago! Jamie can't wait to do more fishing. I'm thinking that the 150+ lbs that we brought home with us will be enough, but you never know he says.
You can view the remaining (500 or so) photos on my Picasa site - Amber's Photos at right.

  1. It looks just like I remeber it. Great little town that it is. It didn't have a tram though, where is it at and where does it go.

  2. The Tram starts at the resort above Creek Street - Cape Fox - and then goes down to Creek Street. It's all of about 1 minute up or down.
