Nighthawk - Interior Updates thru July 15th

To see updates of the house before this post, go to Nighthawk Interior Updates.

I finally have a moment to update the blog with some house photos.  (As always - so many photos, so little time.)  We ended up being at the house almost every day in July just trying to make sure things were getting done the way we wanted them to and in a timely manner.  The "move in" date kept changing, and we kept pushing.  I had been packing up the Celebration house since early May and we were ready to be moved.

The kitchen was getting new lights and being prepped for cabinets.

My office received a new paint color and trim.
And the hardwood floors began getting installed.  It was difficult to keep these safe from the construction traffic and debris.
A lot of new drywall and paint throughout the house.
And the stair rails were sanded down and stained.
New paint in my craft room. (Not the color I wanted, but the painter talked Jamie out of the orangish-chrysanthemum.)
Makena's room was painted the wrong color at first, but then we saw the blue that she chose.
Makena's bathroom - new paint, tile and tub.
There were a lot of changes going on in the Master. New paint, floors and a set of french doors that we couldn't wait to see.

The Master Bath finally started coming together too.
Jamie's basement got a wall of 'Irresitably Purple' paint.

And the steam shower in the basement bath got started.

As well as the door added to the basement from the garage.  (For better access to the Man-Cave.)

By this point, demo was done and things were moving along.  They just seemed to take much longer than we thought, or were told, they would.  Progress was being made though and we were still excited about our choices.
